Online poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players attain 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s first card, you have to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a sum equal to the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
