Web poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer declares "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning bet, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantly to the house. After the wager is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a figure on par with the initial bet. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up money even with your wager and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
