Online poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier declares "No more bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players receive 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original wager, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes directly to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pays chips even with your bet and controlled odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
